Wyatt Goolsby is a Television News Journalist. He’s currently a
Correspondent for EWTN News Nightly, an evening newscast covering the
top National and International news from a Catholic perspective. In addition
to covering the State Department and the Pentagon, he typically anchors EWTN News Nightly at least one day a week.
Wyatt has been honored by the Catholic Academy for Communication
Arts Professionals, which recognize broadcasters and programs that uplift
and nourish the human spirit. He won a Gabriel Award in 2014 for his
report on Saint Jerome Academy in Hyattsville, Md., which focused on the primary school’s classical curriculum.
Wyatt has more than ten years of experience in Television News
Broadcasting. He worked at WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas from 2010 to 2013,
helping pioneer the ABC affiliate’s portable Live U backpack technology. That technology is now a mainstay in the TV news industry.
Prior to working in Dallas, Wyatt produced, reported and anchored the news at KWES-TV, the NBC affiliate in Midland/Odessa, Texas. He was recognized by Midland ISD for his coverage of a number of school issues, including graduation rates, standardized tests, and student athletes.
Wyatt lives in Washington, D.C.
